The Wellington Inn pub and restaurant is renouned for the high quality of its food and is popular amoungst the residents of Colwall. Situated on the outskirts of the village, it is blessed with a traditional pub atmosphere with oak beams, log fires and local real ales. The restaurant is comfortable and spacious offering a broad choice from pub favourites through to more gastronomic dishes from our specials. Freshly made sandwiches and snacks are served in the lower bar where well behaved dogs are allowed. Our chef has trained at the highest level and comes from being head chef at a 3 AA rosette hotel in the Cotswolds and prior to that as sous-chef at a Michelin starred establishment in the Slaughters. All our food is prepared in house from bread through to chocolates with coffee from local ingredients (where possible) and we have recently been making butter from local cream.
